A Deep Passion for Yoga and a Commitment to Kids' Wellbeing

At Sydney Children's Yoga, we empower young minds and bodies through the transformative power of yoga. Our founder, Jaselle Lovisi, brings over 14 years of teaching experience and expertise to her work with children. Having practiced yoga since 2007 and taught adults since 2011, she discovered a new passion in 2023: sharing the benefits of yoga with kids. After becoming a mother, Jaselle felt a deep connection to nurturing the next generation and leveraging yoga's positive impact on her own life. With a strong foundation in yoga and a commitment to supporting children's growth, Sydney Children's Yoga offers a unique and enriching experience for kids.

A Commitment to Quality Training

Jaselle's yoga training is comprehensive and specialised, with a focus on children's wellbeing. She studied with Loraine Rushton of Zenergy Yoga, who set the standards for children's yoga in Australia, completing all courses including yoga therapy. With a specialisation in yoga therapy, Jaselle is equipped to provide expert guidance and support for children's emotional and physical wellbeing. Additionally, in 2022, she enhanced her expertise with advanced training in Pranayama breathing techniques.

A Lifelong Practice

For Jaselle, yoga is a part of her life that has helped her navigate life's ups and downs. At 26, she discovered the transformative power of yoga, which has since become an integral part of her life. As a mother and yoga instructor, Jaselle's passion is sharing the benefits of yoga with children. She often wishes she had discovered yoga in her own childhood, believing it would have helped her develop essential life skills, such as focus, self-awareness, and resilience from a younger age. Now, she's dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to experience these benefits, empowering them with the tools they need to thrive in all aspects of life.

The Need for Yoga Today

We live in a world where stress and anxiety are increasingly common. It's not just adults who are feeling the pressure – kids are too. With growing academic expectations, social media, and a fast-paced lifestyle, many children are struggling to cope. Yoga offers a simple yet powerful solution, providing tools for relaxation, focus, and emotional wellbeing.
